Lean Labs started as a two person web design / dev shop in 2002, founded by Kevin Barber. After a decade (and growth to a three person shop), Kevin became dissatisfied with doing websites for companies that had no marketing plan.
In early 2013, NPS (original company name) rebooted into Lean Labs, which narrowed its focus to building high conversion websites for deserving brands. High conversion websites need steady traffic in order to convert leads and fill sales pipelines, and this is why we adopted Inbound Marketing.
In the three years that followed the reboot (2014-2016), Lean Labs has more than tripled in revenue revenue and is now a team of 12, working remotely from around the world to 10X the traffic, leads, and opportunities of our clients.

Our goal isn’t to become big. Our goal is to be great. If we took on too many clients at one time, there’s no way we could operate as an extension of each client's team.
We limit our 10X retainers to 10 deserving brands and split our work into two sprints per month. This enables us to work with no more than five clients at a time, a number we manage well.
Some teams want to grow with us, meaning we’re their growth partner for many years. Other clients want to outgrow us, as they grow they start to backfill full time team members into our system and process, moving us to other gaps or on to our next client adventure. We’re fine with both.Hire Us
