Years in Digital Marketing
Year with Lean Labs
Where you live?
I live in Minnesota with my wife and two quirky kids.
I’m big on family time, whether that's enjoying meals together, playing Magic the Gathering, or building worlds in Minecraft.
I also love to be outdoors. In the summer that means gardening, hiking, and camping: in winter it’s sledding and snow forts.
In my downtime, I usually grab a book. I enjoy topics ranging from personal development to marketing psychology to vampires and witches.
What you do professionally?
I work with deserving brands to optimize their positioning, messaging, and marketing strategy. Through targeted inbound marketing, I help brands build a trusting relationship with their ideal prospects and convert them into lifelong customers.
By auditing and iterating on every stage of the buyer journey, I help clients accelerate growth and get the most out of their marketing investments.
What makes you good at it ?
My first career was in nursing, where I learned to analyze complex health data, communicate clearly, and respond to stressful situations with calm, purposeful action.
I pivoted to marketing over 5 years ago when I launched an e-commerce brand in the hiking space. After a couple years, I acknowledged that what I truly loved about my business was marketing. And as a consultant, I could market for clients who had way cooler products than mine.
I’ve since worked with dozens of brands to help them build effective marketing strategies and write compelling content that educates, inspires, and converts.
Why you do it for Lean Labs?
With my passion for professional development and working with exciting brands, Lean Labs was a natural fit.
Lean Labs has immersed me in an incredibly talented team, and given me the opportunity to work with some of the coolest brands in the world. Also, working remotely is the bees knees.
